App for Trello: Collaboration Tool for Organization App Reviews

I really enjoy not having to open a web browser to access Trello. Your app puts it right where it needs to be. FEATURE REQUEST UI Doesn’t Scale: I’m using a 13” Macbook Pro and the UI goes right to the bottom. It would be nice if it were scalable. As a result, the gear at the bottom when clicked, the popup extends off the bottom of the page so I can’t see all of it. I suppose this is a function of the resolution my screen is set to but I shouldn’t have to adjust my screen res to get to what I need. Future hopes! Link to Tutorials: It would be nice if you could place links to either video tutorials that describe each thing or a link to text tutorials or some kind of help test popup. In the mean time it does do what I’d like it to do.

I want to echo everyones comments here and say that I absolutely love the fact that I dont have to go online to add/modify cards, etc., this app is great! But I do have a bug to report: for some reason I cant attach files from my desktop. When I click on the Attach File button for a card and when I click Computer I expect to get a browse folder directing me to my files but nothing happes. Alse there is a tip at the bottom of the Attach File sub-page that suggests that I can drag and drop files from by Desktop but that is not possible since as soon as I click anywhere else other than the Trello page from the menu bar, the app page goes away and I cant darg and drop anything into the card page.

I enjoy most aspects of this, and many reviews point out all the pluses. The implementation is nice and does everything I need to avoid keeping a browser tab open. Only problem is that it doesn’t really fit comfortably in a MacBook Pro 13 inch screen. It does work, but there is NO room on the bottom, i mean, none, and that assumes that you have the Dock hidden. Needs to scale to some level for users of netbooks, etc.

My menu tab has other applications running and the current version of the app will not resize itself to fit my screen. I cannot see most of the “screen” and options are hard to access because they’re located at the bottom. Pop up menu’s go off the screen. I imagine that if I only had one or two tabs running then this would be a better fit. However, the fact that it cannot resize itself is pretty terrible. I am completely dependent on Trello and would LOVE to see this work. Please fix and I would five star this in a heartbeat. Update: Now it fits my screen, but not completely. Still has some fitting issues. When I’m looking at my org’s board page, the top left button that says “Boards” has most of the “B” cut off. That sounds minor, but when I’m in the card view, a bit of the cards are cut off as well. It’s much better now and I’m able to actually keep up with the immense amount of movement on the boards, but it’s still annoying not being able to see the entire screen. I’m running a 13” MBP mid-2012.

There needs to be preferences to change the notification sounds and 100% needs to be keyboard shortcut to open and close. Also, where does the application live on mac os. Need to go through the finder to see it.

Do not work properly, I got 75 notification for the same update.

Full Screen Mode forget it. Work with attachments is really hard i keep using the page. i Don’t recomend it. Guys work harder to give a better product and correct all this issues Thanks , sorry for the bad review but i am felling that i lost my money and time .

This is a very simple wrapper for the Trello service, so don’t expect much but what is there appears to work reasonably well. The one improvement I wish would be added is a keyboard shortcut to open the program.

It’s really ugly, a couple of the buttons don’t work, there are no settings available, the menubar icon sticks out like a sore thumb, and the list goes on. Save your buck.

Downloaded today and it looked great… upgraded to OSX 10.10 and nothing is loading. It’s Day 1 so I am hopeful that they’ll be pushing out an update soon. Will update if this gets working properly.

It’s much more convenient to use Trello on a separate window and while you can do this with any browser, it’s nice to have it on the menu tab to view no matter what you’re doing. p.s. very responsive to customer feedback. I suggested a design change for the icon (previously non-transparent with boxed borders) and it was reflected in two weeks. awesome!

This app is great for what it does. It gives me quick access to my trello boards, and basically gives me the trello website in a menu tab. I would prefer to see the options placed in an options menu, and I would prefer to see the border reduced to a much smaller size. The icons for home, back, and refresh could be smaller as well. These don’t really affect the usability of the app, but would make a huge improvement in the aesthetics. The ability to move the window is nice, but the little carrot remains, and no longer points to the menu icon. Overall the app is simple, but works, and gives me faster access to my boards.

I submitted a suggestion to the developer, regarding the User Interface. Wow. After only 2 days I have an updated version running on my computer! The design looks now cleaner, and a keyboard shortcut has been added. It’s a great utility; having Trello only a click or keystroke away. Thank you.

It’s come a LONG way. And it’s becoming a great app that I have begun to use every day.

Really excited to try this app, but absolutely nothing happens when I open it. Occasionally I’ll get an error msg saying "You can’t open the application “MenuTab for Trello” because it is not responding.”

paid a dollar, does not work. same as other reviews. “you cannot open application” something about “not responding” developers once again get free money that will not be refunded.

This app is incredibly cool and convenient for thoes who use Trello alot in project management like me. I really love this app. You should defenitely try it.

I have my mac connected to two screens, when I clicked on the trello menu icon, part of the panel is cut off by the edge of the screen. And when I’m on my second screen, if I click on the trello menu icon, the panel is still opened on the first screen. Everything else are fine so far

After 10 minutes of trying this app, realized they don’t permit you to delete anything (you can only archive). I’d like the ablity to play around with the program / test drive and set up the cards or delete if needed (using for myself only - no team members). I’ve just uninstalled it…should be able to delete projects when they are cancelled or finished (or delete drafts of projects).

It makes me easily to control my task during my working hours. Especially while the event is going :)
